Preinsulated Pipes – Spray

Products

• STL x PUF x PE consists of polyurethane foam sprayed on the steel pipe and then wrapped with extruded High-Density Polyethylene.
• STL x FBE x PUF x PE consists of abrasively cleaned outside surface of Steal pipe followed by Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) powder applied to blasted surface. It is then sprayed with polyurethane foam and wrapped with extruded High Density Polyethylene.
• STL x 3LPE x PUF x PE consist of abrasively cleaned outside surface of Steel pipe followed by Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) powder applied to blasted surface. Copolymer adhesive and High-Density Polyethylene are Co-extruded on the coated pipe it is then sprayed with polyurethane foam and wrapped with extruded High-Density Polyethylene.

STEEL:

ERW, SAW, SSAW or Seamless, according to ASTM A 53, A106 or API 5L, Grades A or B.
Wall thickness: standard weight, schedule 40 or extra strong (other wall thicknesses are available upon request).
Ends: beveled for welded joints or grooved for mechanical joints.

HDPE:

High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) pipe: Extruded High-Density Polyethylene ultra-violet Stabilized.

PUF:

Polyurethane foam (PUF): Rigid cellular CFC - free, having a nominal density 32 kg/m³, closed cell content of 90 – 95%, “k” factor of 0.03 W/m.K, compressive strength of 276 - 414 kPa, Operating temperature range -35 °C to +142 °C. (or as per project specification)
